- A camel train, with riders, travels through the wadi.
- The photograph is mounted in a leather album with gold lettering in Russian. The album's title page states that the photographs are from a 1910 voyage to the Sinai. The photograph has a handwritten title in Italian and Russian and is numbered (96) and dated ("13 Mai 1910") on the album page. Some of the lines in the photograph appear to have been drawn in.
