- The photograph is part of a portfolio of six views. The photographs are mounted on heavy matte. The portfolio has an introductory page in Hebrew and German: "Ich habe die Freude, Ihnen, wenn auch mit Verspätung, als kleine Gegengabe für Ihre freundliche Aufmerksamkeit anlässlich meines sechzigsten Geburtstages eine Mappe [.] Flugaufnahmen aus unserm Lande zu überreichen." ("It is my pleasure to offer although with delay a small gift in return for your kind attention for my sixtieth birthday, an aerial map from this country.") The introductory page has been signed and dated Jerusalem, 1938.
