Description
Manuscript used for public or private recitation and prayer. It presents numerous mantras and is in praise of the one thousand names connected to the elephant-headed, Hindu deity, Gaṇeśa. Text is presented as a dialogue between the Hindu deities Śiva and Umā (Pārvatī).

Mistakes covered over in yellow or blacked out; some corrections and minor additions in margins; some folios treated with yellow turmeric powder.
