Description
Black-and-white photographic prints depicting activities led by the Child Abuse Prevention Effort (CAPE), primarily featuring adults (staff, volunteers, participants) with information materials, purchasing resources, and in groups. CAPE is a Philadelphia nonprofit organization that offers programs to help reduce the likelihood of child abuse and neglect, offering a variety of workshops for parents, professionals, and children. According to their website, GSK is "a fully focused biopharma company. We prioritize innovation in vaccines and specialty medicines, maximizing the increasing opportunities to prevent and treat disease. At the heart of this is our R&D focus on the science of the immune system and advanced technologies, and our world-leading capabilities in vaccines and medicines development. We focus on four therapeutic areas: infectious diseases, HIV, respiratory/immunology, and oncology." Harvey Finkle (born March 28, 1934) is a self-taught documentary still photographer and photojournalist who has documented social, economic, cultural, and political issues across the city of Philadelphia, the United States, and the world.
