Notes
A priest stands outside a church. At his left is a wooden ladder which leads to the roof where there is a bell on a stand. The church building is Franciscan.
The album contains mounted photographs with captions in Italian and decorated borders. "Beatissimo Patri Leoni XIII Pontifici o.m. cuius mens cor vires in rem christianam orientis ut plurimum versantur solemniis saecularibus VII recurrentibus ab ortu faustissimo seraphici minorum patris album istud non dignum sane et absolutum conditionibus loci meliora haud exhibentibus franciscalis terrae s custodia humillime offert dicat" is printed on the second page of the album. "Desunt quatuor Scholae Elementares et Hospitium Sidonis" is printed on paper affixed inside the back cover. The image is numbered (48) on the matte and the photograph.
Condition: Good ; some fading and the matte is warped and has some mildew
The photograph dates to 1882 or earlier.
