- The photograph is in a book with a typed description in French: "Pénétrons dans le Cénacle, nous verrons la salle où fut instituée l'Eucharistie. Deux colonnes à chapiteau gothique (dont une seule visible) la divisent en deux nefs parallèles. Un escalier de six marches mène à une petite porte qui ouvre sur le prétendu tombeau de David. Le Cénacle n'est pas seulement le lieu ou les disciples mangèrent la Pâque, c'est aussi le lieu où ils attendirent, après l'Ascension, la venue du Saint-Esprit, le jour de la Pentecôte."
