- Miscellany of works in manuscript, copied for publication and associated with the enlightenment publication of the Berlin Jüdische Freischule (Ḥevrat ḥinukh neʻarim in Hebrew) and founder Daniel Itzig; the title page (f. 1r) and colophon of the first work honor "Meʼir", likely Meyer Simon Weyl, then ministering the Berlin Beth-Din as a dayan and lecturer in the Jüdische Freischule (and later Chief Rabbi of Berlin).

- Layout: Written in columns of 30-32 long lines (Sefer Shaʻar ha-shamayim); two columns, aligned right, of poetry (f. 109r); portions of Immanuel's sonnets written in six columns (such as f. 121r); first and last books blind-ruled around columns (f. 2r-104v, and 141r-155v).
- Script: Written in a Ashkenazic cursive scripts in varied hands; the first work written in the hand of Simon ben Koppel Wolf of Sandersleben (writing in Berlin).
- Origin: Written in Berlin, likely following the date of completion of the first work (Friday, Ḥaye Śarah [5]549, or 21 November 1788; f. 104r).
- Binding: Modern buckram; book block separated from spine.
